Research Fellowships
The Europa-Kolleg Hamburg offers foreign researchers in the field of law, economics or political science to support their research projects by means of a fellowship for a research stay at the Institute for European Integration. The research projects should relate to one of the thematic priorities which are currently pursued at the Institute for European Integration:
- Theory and Policy of Cohesion
- Economic Governance within the Eurozone
- Approximation of Competition Rules of new and future Member States and Neighbourhood States to EU Law
- European Competition Policy
- The European Single Market
- Integration, Enlargement and Association
- Constitution and Administration of the EU
The financial support consists of monthly grants in the amount of 2000 Euro (university teachers) or 1000 Euro (research assistants and doctoral students). In addition, a travel allowance can be granted. The fellowship is awarded for a stay between one and three months, doctoral students may choose to stay longer. Fellowship holders are expected to publish their research results achieved during their stay (in the Institute’s own publication series or in external journals).
Research fellowship applications for the year 2014 are to be submitted until 31 October 2013. The application must contain a CV and a short precise description of the research project which would be conducted during the stay at the Institute for European Integration and information regarding the intended length of stay.
